This website holds information on the extended family of our great-grandparents Johann and Anna Maria Bayerl who immigrated from St. Katharina, Bohemia to Birch Creek, Michigan in 1882. We have traced the ancestry some 6 generations from Johann to the early 17th century.

This site is dedicated to the memory of Raymond John Bayerl, the son of Mary and Dick Bayerl, who passed away June 27th, 2007 at age 45. Ray carefully and proudly chose this domain name for his personal website because of our Bohemian ancestry.

Ray was the main planner of the 1987 Bayerl Reunion which was held in Henes Park.  With the help of his talented Aunt Theresa Ann Bayerl Harris he created this fine pastoral scene on the left which was used on tee shirts and sweat shirts for the occasion.
